17 days

almost 6 months later and i am still trying to lose the last bit of my baby weight from carter (sad, right?). i've been going to the gym at least three times a week doing a muscle class and zumba and that's wasn't enough. so on monday i started the 17 day diet with my dad. i am literally dying. i never knew how hard it was to go on just protiens and vegetables! i miss my carbs. sooo much. i am on day three now and it's getting a little bit easier. the first day i was thinking about food all day. it was horrible! on phase one you are supposed to eat mostly chicken or fish and tons of veggies. its kind of the same concept as the atkins diet, but wayy more healthy! so far, i've lost 2 pounds..only 13 more to go! (haha). i'm hoping that if people know i'm actually on a diet, it will motivate me a litttttle bit more!

  1. First of all, you don't need to lose any weight, let alone 15 pounds! You crazy girl. You look amazing.

    After Dean, I just ate a lot of small meals and tons of fresh produce. I also made a lot of yogurt parfaits with granola from Sprouts.

  2. you look so wonderful, but i do know how it goes to not feel your "best" weight that you're comfortable with. dieting and exercise is really hard but just remember the hard part of it is only a short period and good food isn't going anywhere..it'll still be there when you get to your goal weight :) good luck! i'm sure you'll do great especially with your dad helping too. it's always nice to have someone else be doing it with you! oh and if you happen to cheat on your diet one day, don't give it all up...just get back on it the next day/meal. (coming from a girl that knows how diets go, haha) love you!
